Transportation to the Let Gaza Live! Rally

If you are organizing transportation to Washington, D.C., please fill out the Transportation Form. This will allow others to find out about transportation options, and it will ensure that you receive important logistical information regarding the plans for Saturday.


Chicago, IL

Bus departs on Friday, Jan. 9 at 7 pm from the Back of the Art Institute of Chicago on Columbus Ave. between Monroe & Jackson. Bus returns early Sunday Morning.

Bus Tickets are $100 — just to cover the cost of the bus — and can be purchased online by clicking here. You can also pay in cash at the ANSWER Office:

Baltimore, MD

Bus tickets are $15 round trip (no one turned away for lack of funds). Leaving from Baltimore Solidarity Center at 2011 N. Charles St (20th and N. Charles St.) at 10 A.M. Call (443) 909-8964 or Email for more info.


Flint, MI

The Flint Islamic Center is organizing a bus. It is near capacity, so contact them to get a seat – please do not show up that morning. Contact Noor Haydar at or 810.275.8604. The bus departs from 9447 Corunna Rd. in Swartz Creek, MI 48532. Cost is $70 per person. Passengers should meet at 9:30 pm; the bus departs at 10:30 pm. Again, please contact them before showing up.


New York, NY

All buses depart at 6:30am on Saturday, January 10th, and return around 10pm on the same day. The cost is $40 for a round-trip ticket. These are the bus locations:

1) Union Square / 14th St. (Downtown Manhattan): L,N,Q,R,4,5,6 trains
2) Bay Ridge Ave and 4th (Brooklyn)

Arrive at the bus locations between 6am and 6:30am.

Mid-Hudson, NY

Charter buses will leave the Mid-Hudson region at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10. The fare is $35 (scholarships are available if you’re low on funds). The buses will leave for home in late afternoon. To reserve seats and for further information, contact Yasmin at (914) 539-0236 or

Westchester-White Plains, NY

The Iranian-American Friendship Committee is organizing a 15 passenger van. If you wish to be included, please RSVP IMMEDIATELY, as seats are filling fast. The van will make one stop in New Jersey, in the Fort Lee area, so if you want to be picked up there, let us know! The round-trip cost is $30.00, leaving NY at 6:00 AM Saturday, January 10th and returning Saturday evening, January 10th, around 8-9 PM. Contact

Charlotte, NC

Vans will leave Charlotte on Sat., Jan. 10 at 5:00 am from The MAS Community Center at 4301 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215. Vans will leave DC that same day at 6:00 pm to return to Charlotte. Cleveland – Westside
Bus leaving on Friday January 9 at 11:45 PM from Islamic Center of Cleveland, 6055 West 130th Street, Parma Ohio 44130. Cost $30. This is a 24 hour turn-around trip. We will sleep on the bus and arrive in the morning in time for the rally. Must call for reservations and fill out waiver form. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Cleveland – Eastside
Bus leaving on Friday, January 9 at 12:30 am (this is 30 min. past midnight, really it’s January 10) from Uqbah Mosque Foundation, 2222 Stokes Blvd. Cleveland, Ohio 44106. Loading at 12:30 AM. Cost $30. This is a 24 hour turn-around trip. We will sleep on the bus and arrive in the morning in time for the rally. Must call for reservations and fill out waiver form. Pittsburgh, PA

There will be a bus if 40 people sign up, so please inquire right away if you are interested. The cost will be approximately $35 per person. Contact the Pitt Palestine Solidarity Committee, Sarah Moawad at or 412-952-1611.


Providence, RI

We have one van going down currently, but could do more if there’s a need. Leaving SATURDAY at 5 am from the Branch Ave Stop & Shop (333 W River St) in Providence. Hayes, VA

We will have a caravan. So far 3 cars are going. We can add 10 people to those cars. We will meet at 8 AM at Food Lion at the Point at Guinnea Road.
